Students of Valemont! I come to you now with news..
Discussions re: a new season of Valemont are going well with MTV. There are still a number of unresolved issues that will ultimately affect the network's decision to continue the series -- format, schedule, budget, etc. -- but there is strong enthusiasm for everything Valemont has accomplished thus far, and a genuine believe amongst EFE and MTV that the best is yet to come for this franchise.
In our meeting today, one of the MTV executives cited with great pride the glowing comments about Valemont on MTV.com, and in those comments the passionate call for another season. In fact, the Valemont community itself was discussed as one of the most impressive and important aspects of the franchise itself. So if you think the Powers That Be are not watching and listening to the fans, think again. Your opinions are being heard, and they MATTER.
Case in point, one of the victories of our Sat night special was the volume of online traffic following the conclusion of the 1 hr. cut. The number of episode streams, Valemont U enrollments and Facebook page views was very impressive. And proof that all the outreach to (and through) the community really worked. So please, take a bow because you all had a hand in the success.
Although we do not have a definitive "Yes" or "No" on another season, I can honestly say that all the signs are positive. EFE and MTV are working hard and fast to make the necessary determinations that will allow us to make the right decision. Sooner than later. So all I can ask you to do now is sit tight, keep the faith and please continue to spread the word. There is no such thing as too many fans or too much positive feedback. Every video view, every Valemont U enrollment and every "This show rocks!" comment WILL BE NOTICED.
For your commitment to this community I will make a pledge: as the situation clarifies -- for better or worse -- I will keep you posted right here. At the center of the Valemont universe.

Everyone remember, we are not to rest on our laurels as we wait for our academic suspension to be lifted but to go out and spread the word, near and far, by hills and dales, from land to sea about the mysterious world that is Valemont!
It is your mission, no, you're life breath to be the light of Valemont and let those who are in the dark know what lurks around them.
